What is Prevnar 20?

Prevnar 20 is a pneumococcal conjugate vaccine. It does not contain live bacteria, so it cannot give you pneumococcal pneumonia. Conjugate vaccines pair proteins with small, inactive pieces of bacteria to train your immune system to recognize them. Prevnar 20 helps protect against 20 strains that can cause pneumococcal pneumonia.

Is Prevnar 20 right for me?
